This coffee shop is located on Blowing Rock Road. From the outside it appears to be a small building standing on its own, but from the inside its is very spacious and offers various seating. It is the perfect spot for students to stop and study or hangout with friends. A cool factor about this coffee shop's location is that it is close enough for walking distance (if you are a walker) from campus but not on campus to change up the scenery. However, if you are not a walker, the city bus (The Purple Route) actually has a stop right beside it (McDonalds stop), making it very convenient to jump on the bus from campus and study in between classes. It is also very convenient for on-the-go coffee offering a drive-thru for a fast and good cup of quality coffee.
Another cool thing about this coffee shop is they roast their own coffee! The tiny batch roaster is actually the firth thing that greets you by the door. It adds the perfect vibe to the shop and adds more character having the roaster out for the public to see.
I was mesmerized of the consent stirring of the beans, that I had to include a boomerang to this blog post. Local Lion also offers homemade doughnuts! (DELICIOUS!!!) Definitely try one out when you go. Till next time!
