Espresso news is located in downtown Boone, and is walking distance to Appalachian State University. This cute little shop is tucked away in a little nook on Howard Street. It rest in the middle of a parking lot, engulfed by other buildings but sticking out just enough to be the center of the attention.
With this arrangement it already displayed a favorable impression, and carried on throughout the remaining of the stay. This place is defiantly not a let down at all!
Inside this shop is an open area enclosed with beautiful windows surrounding the main sitting area allowing the perfect lighting and a clean and authentic vibe. There are multiple tables and chairs and a bar that is aligned with the curved shaped windows for the opportunity to to face the outside of the shop. Which, if you're anything like me, and enjoy having having little breaks in between studying, or just enjoys people watching. This place is definitely for you!
It is also the perfect place to go hangout with friends, go on a coffee date, or even just to chill and relax. To my surprise they also have a second story, where it is more exclusive and private if you want to hide yourself for an intense homework assignment, or even a more personal date.
They also roast there own beans, and have a wonderful selection of there house blends. One of the things I really like about this coffee shop are the mugs they let customers use for a "for here" option. All of them are all unique and different, which adds a to the atmosphere in general.
Overall this coffee shop is cute and unique and I would absolutely recommend it if your passing through Boone.
